'Spurs 1961'

 

 

This booklet is not especially rare but it is a very nice record of the Tottenham Hotspur team & staff from the great 1960-61 season.

 

1961 is usually, and quite rightly, lauded as the year of the great 'Double' team that won both the League Championship & the FA Cup so what I particularly like about this publication is that it solely commemorates the club's achievement of winning the League Championship (it being published after the FA Cup semi-final but before the FA Cup Final). For that reason it is a somewhat unique piece of memorabilia & one that, again, any supporter of Tottenham Hotspur should relish.
